Mini-Skeins:
These are 1 oz and about 120 yard skeins, 100% merino. Super tight twist for stitch definition, and takes the dye quite vibrantly. Currently, I have a good assortment of colors in stock, pretty much every colorway that is listed on the website, plus some other random colors. You can order any colorway, or tell me what colors you’re looking for. OR, I can certainly dye any color combination you would like. $9
The Opposites Attract cowl, designed by Vicki Byram of Red Oak Designs was knit using two mini-skeins:
The Mosiac cowl designed by Ellen’s 1/2 Pint Farm. There are two different patterns, and each one was knit using two mini-skeins (the yellow one was actually knit using one of the Butterfly cowl sets):
Patterns for the Opposites Attract, and for the two Mosiac designs are free when you order two of the mini-skeins but please ask!
Silk & Merino-S
This is a sport weight silk and merino blend, 50/50, comes in 4 oz skeins, 500 yards. The merino holds the shape, yet the silk adds a softness and sheen to the yarn. One skein will make the Traveling Woman, or most average size shawls. $45
Right now what I have only a couple skeins in stock. These are all dyed gray, then overdyed with flecks of color. The following pictures show some of the color combinations I have dyed, but I am happy to dye any color combination you would like. When you place your order, please put in the comment section what colors you would like, or you can email me with that information.
Yak/Silk:
This is a luscious yarn to work with! Sport weight, 50% yak and 50% silk, 50 grams and 125 yards. Very soft and silky, lightweight and warm. The base yarn is a dark tan, so any colorway you choose will be very dark and muted. One skein will make any one of the garments shown below, and your choice of one pattern comes with the yarn (make sure you tell me which pattern you would like). $28
Camel/Silk:
This is also quite luscious yarn. Sport weight, 50% camel and 50% silk, 50 grams and 125 yards. Soft and silky, lightweight and warm. The base yarn is a light tan, so any colorway will be slightly muted, not bright. One skein will make any one of the garments shown below, and your choice of one pattern comes with the yarn (make sure you tell me which pattern you would like). $28
One skein of either Yak/Silk or Camel/Silk will do any one of the following garments:

This is a beautiful lace weight yarn, 80% baby alpaca, 20% silk. Each skein is 2.8-3 oz, and 600 yards. One skein will make the Pinky Swear, shown above, but a much lighter, longer version, a light lacy shawl, or double it for a warm and soft scarf. This yarn is available in all colorways, but what I have in stock is all tonal colors. $35.
These are the colors that are currently in stock:
Kid Mohair & Silk
This is a very light, lace-weight yarn, 70% kid mohair, 30% silk, 25 grams and 225 yards. One skein makes a very light cowl or scarf. $15
These are the colors that are currently in stock:
Cool Nights Cowl, designed by Vicki Byram of Red Oak designs:
Mohair/Silk/Nylon
This yarn has a gorgeous shine, a little texture, and is oh so soft! 50 grams, 165 yards, and one skein will make a lovely scarf or cowl that will be soft and warm. $25
These are the colors that are currently in stock:
Silk/Bamboo:
This is a very silky smooth, shiny yarn! Sport weight, 100 grams, 325 yards. Because there is no wool, it does not hold it’s shape as well, but certainly has a beautiful drape. One skein for the Parhelia or A Fine Balance (either pattern comes free with the yarn, just let me know when ordering which one you would like). $35
Parhelia, designed by Jeanne Abel of Nature Speak Knits.
A Fine Balance scarf, designed by Maureen Mason Jamieson
These are the colors that are currently in stock:
Sock Blanks:
We have sock blanks in both single and double!
Single blanks are 425 yards, 75% wool, 25% nylon. $30
Double blanks are two strands together, with each one being 212 yards, 75% wool, 25% nylon. The great thing about the double blanks is that you can make an exactly matching pair of socks!! $30
All blanks are available in any of the standard colorways, any tonal, and as usual, I am happy to do any custom dyeing in any color combination that you would like.
However, you need to be aware with sock blanks that what you see is not always what you get! Here are some samples of blanks (these are all double), and then the socks that were knit using that blank.
And here’s a shawl that was knit using a single blank:
Silk & Merino-W
This is a worsted weight silk and merino blend, 50/50, comes in 3.5 oz skeins, 275 yards. The merino holds the shape, yet the silk adds a softness and sheen to the yarn. One skein will make the Pinky Swear, or any soft cowl or scarf. $30
